Data Backup Question...

This is a weird question. Does anyone know of a program that when you make an "data disk" (be cd or dvd) that is over 700MBs or over 4.7GBs. It tells you to "insert another disk". Like in Nero when you drag too much data into the burning section it does not alow you to burn the data. Im looking for a program that will alow that data to be burned and ask you for more disks as it compleats the burnning process. Any Ideas?

I see what you are doing, and honestly, unless you've spent the bucks on the guaranteed dvds/cds, don't waste your time backing up your data to either medium.

Honestly, the best you can do as a consumer is to get a second, portable harddrive and back up to that.

Tape is also an option for commercial applications, but it's such a pain to work with and transfer speeds suck such that, were it me, I'd spend the money on a seperate system strictly for backups. More bang for your buck that way.

Really this is for client use. I mak back ups for other people. To dvd/cds i i get sick of keeping up with the files that i last burned ya know. Thats why im looking for the app.

Let's say I have 15gigs of family pictures I want to share, such a burning utility would be rather useful.
