Other than RAID and other common back up practices, can a back up solution be setup like this:
For your most important data, you create a folder named super important for example. When you save anything into this folder, it will automatically get also saved in a folder in another drive? The folder can have the same name of course.
What this gives you is the added redundancy only for your most important files. Any thing you absolutely don't want to lose will get copied into one more location or maybe two more in a network drive or something.
