DARPA Tests Hypersonic Weapon Successfully

If anyone read the article or read up on the difference between what an ICBM doesnt in flight and what the new weapons platform does wouldnt ask these question some of you are asking...

"At first, the Prompt Global Strike involved retrofitting nuclear missiles with conventional warheads; the problem was, the new weapon could’ve easily been mistaken for a doomsday one. Which meant a Prompt Global Strike could’ve invited a nuclear retaliation. No wonder Congress refused to pay for the project.

So instead, the Pentagon focused on developing superfast weapons that would mostly scream through the air, instead of drop from space like a nuclear warhead. Those hypersonic gliders may cut down on the geopolitical difficulties, but introduced all sorts of technical ones. We don’t know much about the fluid dynamics involved when something shoots through the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds. And there really aren’t any wind tunnels capable of replicating those often-strange interactions."

ICBM's go way above the earth this thing stays in closer... Im sure they would be able to tell the difference on radar/satellites. Its also WAY more controllable than an ICBM is.

Bend over and pucker up . The rest of thee world has been patiently waiting for "Rome to fall". We have one last chance of it is already not to late.

One nice thing about not being a socialist country is that we don't all fall at the same time. A deep depression would just affect 10-15% of the country where jobs are concerned. It sucks hardcore, I'll grant that, but it beats going the way of USSR, Greece and ancient Rome where if someone sneezes, the whole country comes tumbling down.

The United States isn't going anywhere for a while.
