yes i do realize that. i just think nvidia artificially limits the performance of the cpu doing physx. that is why i would like to see what it looks like when physx is bening run on the cpu. does the cpu use go up? down? stay the same?
Does Nvidia also artificially limit the performance of the CPU doing Photoshop? How about Video encoding? How about audio encoding? How about any of the other plethora of applications that are now being down through CUDA? How about AMD/ATI? Are they purposing limiting the perfomance of graphics processing on the CPU? I mean heck, it works a hell of a lot better on their GPU, they must be helping put in code to limit it on CPUs. How about ATI's GPGPU applications? Are they in bed with Nvidia to limit how these applications work on CPUs so that they only look like they perform better on GPUs?
