I bought a maze 4 cpu block from dd.com a week ago. I have the kind that mounts to the socket rather than to the board. The way my mobo is set up there are two transitors on the thick side of the mount. There is not enough room to mount it with the thick side of the mount on the south side of the socket. Is there any way I can mount it with the thick side on the north side of the socket or any other way? I have a MSI K7n2 ILSR. I have contacted their tech support and received no responce.

Capacitors, maybe? A pair of can-shaped things below the left of the socket?

You can't swap the two socket-lug grabbing things, but you could file off the left outside edge of the grabber thing. Take off enough metal so that it fits between the capacitors and the socket, but can still grab onto the socket lugs.
