How well does the DD RBX 1/2in. for the LGA775 socket perform? Does it come with the traditional DD threaded mounting screws or does it come with a bracket?

Yeah, it uses 4 bolts so that means you'll have to dismount your motherboard to mount one. As to performance, if you've got a pump with a decently high head rating it works very well but if your pump's pretty small in terms of head you'd be better served to use a less demanding block such as a 6000 series Swiftech.

I am planning on getting the Danger Den D5 pump that just came out. Is this sufficient?

Yep, the D4 had a 10ft head rating and I'll assume that the D5 has at least that much judging from the fact that DD promotes it as having superior performance to the D4.

You should be more than happy with the performance of that pump and block combo if you've got a good rad to back them both up.
