I just got these a few days ago...they're so freakin heavy! Has anyone had a problem with the sheer weight of this block damaging their card or their motherboard?? Just want to know if I should take precautions (CardSavers or something)

Not at all. Just slapped one on my BFG7800GTX-OC and it's cranking away. Just make sure you tighten the PCI slot screw snuggly while holding the card up.

They're not only huge but expensive! Was it worth it? I mean how would you say they compare to to just a regular GPU WB?

I'm not sure yet...heh heh...I'm still modding my computer a bit...and installing everything...I'll soon find out and I'll post

I've never had another GPU WB but I would probably say they really aren't worth it all that much...my GPUs were already factory overclocked to 490/1.30 and I could even oc them to 500/1.32...I can't go higher than that when watercooled....plus all they do is add resistance to my loop too...it's a complete mess now...tubes everywhere....no kinks and good flow (I think) but tubes everywhere

If it helps you can always cut down a pencil / old cathode tube to hold the blocks up.

It is beautiful isn't it, you get to avoid that spaghetti hell known as 6mm tubing.

Moral of the story, any watercooling can be made to look very clean, regardless of tubing size, so how about you keep your useless comments to yourself?

OP : If your cards seem to be warping a lot you could get a card saver, although the backplate that DD uses to mount the card should prevent a lot of warping, You should be just fine without a card saver. As for your overclocking results, it looks like you got a poor core, that sucks.

Why don't you show us yours, if you actually watercool.

Well the NV-78 has the inlet and outlet of the blocks pointing up and down...and my system is SLI...so it makes a huge mess of the tubing...i wish I would have gotten the maze4 blocks for my cards

And you would have saved a shit-load of money too. But in SLI mode my pci slots are useless. I did find an awesome Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX (USB) that kicks out some great sound.
