Here are some pics since I know 1/2 of you wont bother reading this.

I just need to cut some holes in the stop for the radiator, and I'm also painting all the silver on the inside (drive bays, mobo tray) black for extra coolness ;)

Stay tuned, more pics comming soon.

BTW if you guys want to mow down some of my bandwith here is the Hi Res directory. click > HERE <

I'm currently painting my radiators chrome (they are hanging up in the garage) but my case arrives today. So sometime before Friday I should be all done. I just have to mod some 120MM holes in the top of the case and throw everything in.

well, everything excpet you posting this thread in the wrong area.

might want to have this moved to watercooling........

i hope that you spread that dab of AS5 to cover the GPU core, before installing the block, though.

I don't think my camera sucks, I think I suck. I just don't know how to use the damn thing...

you did spread out that AS5 on the GPU core right?

EDIT, heh there are instructions? (J/K) I always spread it out.

another edit. Okay, you're not supposed to spread it on the metal capped cores, but with a bare core, like an Athlon XP and GPU cores, I think you should certainly spread it. You want 100% contact with the heatsink/WB and the core. if you don't spread it, only the center will be cooled, which usually is enough, but if it were me, I'd want better cooling.

it says on the Arctic silver site to put a dab in the middle and let the pressure of the heatsink spread it out...that was for CPUs tho im assuming it would be ok to do the same for the chipset, I used some AS on my NV Silencer on my nvidia 6800 but i spread it out cuz i was afraid it wouldnt cover lol

dude, you're doing things in reverse.

large areas like the heat spreader of the CPU or the nvidia don't need any spreading.

tiny little exposed cores like that ATI DO need the goop spread.

it's been a while since i've been to the AS website, but they said that pretty clearly when i was last there.

Doesn't matter if you spread out the AS5 or not. It comes out the same anyway.

Islanq: I hope you get this message before your trial run:
Tighten those thumb screws on the Maz4 until the springs are nearly touching each other. This is REALLY important! I fried a video card because I didn't tighten them down all the way. Your video card will bend a little, but not such that you need to worry.

Good luck and make sure you have those thumb screws tightened!!!

Nice camera - I've used a Kodak that's very similar. Fantastic movie mode as well :)
