I just got my RAM thingy fixed, but now when I try to install 98 since xp wouldn't work and I didn't have it. But it says it can't find my hard disc, But I know It's connected, all the way, I'm staring at the window RIGHT NOW

you may want to give a little more information about your system

what are your running?
is the hd detected in your bios?
is the harddrive IDE or sata?
what jumper settings?

98 doesn't format your HDD. You'll be needing a boot disk of some form with fdisk and format on it.

dude, that sucks. Get a hold of a copy of XP b/c the fdisk crapola is a pain. XP setup has it all built right in. Makes life easy and such.

Also make sure that HD hasn't been formatted to the NTFS file system because Win98 won't see it. You'll need to format in FAT or FAT32

Ram = Corsair 512 Pro xms. ( the one with the LED )
Hdd = 120 gb... forgot manufacturer
Processor = AMD Athlon 64 3000+
Motherboard... Gigabyte - ( one of the ones with dual BIOS )

Windows 98 would be a waste on a nice system like that. 2000/XP/linux would be worthy :D
