No, I didn't. He has good Heat so I shipped first. Sort of seems out of character...I was thinking maybe gone or busy this week but as MrGreg62 said he has been on today.

I just sent a new PM at 11:02 PM but I have a feeling that will go unanswered as well. I'm about to leave negative Heat explaining the logging onto the forums for over a week and and ignoring a seller's PM's, as well and no payment received. If somebody doesn't care to reply to a seller they owe, then they shouldn't mind a negative Heat eval.
 
I have replied but for some reason I guess it didn't get sent. I have sent out the MO it's in the mail and I have no tracking as USPS doesn't do tracking on regular mail. If it's not there tues (since mon holiday) let me know. Or if you have a paypal already I can send that RIGHT NOW if you need. I'm not trying to scam or avoid especially over a 45 dollar calculator = P
 
I've bought from him before, I'm really shocked by this behavior, DamtheMan, please respond and keep your good name! :(

That's why I was hesitant to leave bad Heat, I figured something was up.

So, potentially another problem with Damtheman. I bought some Rambus ram from him. I paypal'd (echeck) the amount August 24th. After confirming receiving the amount he wants to wait until it clears. A little annoying considering I have good heat, he never mentioned this before the transaction, and I saved him some $ by not using CC but whatever I can wait. During this process he is very slow to respond to PM's (take up to 2 days). Paypal clears it August 29, so there goes any chance of getting it prior to labor day weekend (not really his fault, it's paypals' fault considering the money was out of my account day 1). After payment he was a little slow responding (took 2 days). Said he was running a little behind and PM'ed me a fedex tracking number even though he had plenty of time to login into hardforums plenty of times.

It's been listed as "Package data transmitted to FedEx" since last Thursday (August 31'st). I figured it being holiday weekend fedex has been slow updated. I call Fedex this morning (10am) and they have not received the package (tracking # 660831510000169). All he did was print out a label. I PM'ed him at 10:16am. He's logged in today at 10:55AM and I haven't received a PM back. He's offline now. I’m looking for an update man. Answer your PM!

Unless I hear from him by 5pm today or Fedex magically updates confirming that they received the package I'm going to leave negative heat and try to get my money back ($127.50).
 
I'll check with fedex today to see what might be the problem. I have a few packages that went out at the same time.
 
Check your PM. If you haven't shipped and Fedfex won't deliver it today (like the original tracking number states) or tomorrow I'd like a refund.
 
Like I said in my PM let me see what they say in person when I go up there on lunch. I had a few packages I dropped off that day and none of them seem to be coming up. I also have another to drop off. Once I get confirmation on where the RD ram is or have someone telling me they'll find it i'll give you a refund and you can just ship it back to me when it shows up.

Tantrix: Please let me know if you get it in the next few days. I can paypal someone the same amount so they can "hold the funds" in case. I just dunno what to tell you about tracking as it's in the mail and they don't offer tracking on snailmail.
 
Darntheman is a good trader, just bare with him and give him a chance, he is always willing to make things right.

The holiday really screws things up with FedEx.

And just a side note, the stuff he shipped me showed up in FedEx the day it was delivered, not before.

There were 3 other packages that went the same time as this one. Due to some financial technicalities (closed cc attached to fedex account, so had to reopen with new card) and the remaining went out today. DamtheMan is really an awesome trader. He really does try to make things right. Hope all goes well.
 
I admit it can get a little hectic when involved in several deals simultaneously. Not sure what's going on with you other guys but for me it's DamTheMan & Tantrix vs. USPS. They seem to have either lost the funds he sent or it is seriously off track. He and I have communicated since and are resolving it. I can vouch for him in my case, he's making every attempt to make things right. Sometimes the middleman is to blame. :(

DamTheMan gave me a really good deal on an Asus P5WDG2-WS mobo with cpu combo. Shipped as promised and arrived very quickly. Everything was great except he included wrong i/o shield. PM'd him about it and he said he was going to send the correct i/o shield out but it has been weeks already. He hasn't responded to my PM's neither. I decided to try to get one from Asus but they said they don't have one available. I'm happy with the transaction but wish he sends the i/o shield though.
 
I had a game from California show up too me 2 weeks later I got on ebay from USPS when I live in NY.

USPS sucks!

dude, what are you talking about? USPS will do at least delivery confirmation for 45 cents for priority mail, 55 cents for normal mail. and I'm pretty sure you can get regular tracking, you just have to pay for it.

for a show of good faith post or at PM the serial # of the MO, thereby proving the date, time, and amount it was for. That would go aways to lessen doubts. If you "lost" the reciept and cant find the MO tear off reciept either, well :rolleyes:

Wow, had you been paying attention to the thread, you'd see that i've already paid him more than what was owed via paypal to cover any messup. I didn't think much of it at first since it was only 45 dollar MO. So the only one who lost out was me, if the money order shows up it'll be a different story. But thanks for you input and concern.

Actually that serial # on MOs do not track as I have entered them before on USPS site with no such luck and had to spend 2 hours with them on the phone too track down an over night MO which took a week to get too it's destination.
 
So the minute something seems wrong they make a thread. Then a few weeks after it's all settle the threads still open and people are still giving me questions as to this thread. If we can please close this and everyone can verify that they've been taken care of.

DanTheMan has gone into my "Good Traders" book, he tried hard to make things right and got them all corrected in the end, while I have never personally delt with him I feel I wouldn't have any problem trading with him.
