my company is throwing out an old IBM thinkpad (celeron 900Mhz, 128MB ram, intel gfx) because the screen doesn't work properly.
I've had a look at it and the screen is diplaying as normal its just like the "back light" (i don't know the proper name for it) isn't working. Just wanted to know if any of you LCD gurus know if it can/is worth fixing? and how much it would be to do so...
