damaged crt? Nokia 445pro questions

So Ive had a nokia 445pro 21inch crt for a while now. heres a quick link to the specs.

Anyways I have been doing 1600x1200@ 75hz just fine until recently. The monitor has been visibly shaking in parts of the screen. Like part of it is being degaused but not going. I changed the drivings on my 6800gt and played with the settings there and the cables but no luck. So I changed the rate to 60hz in windows and its fine. No screen shaking etc. Now the monitor specs claim it can go to over 1600x1200 @ a higher refresh rate then I was running.
Quite odd. I think my monitor is going dead (Im planning on getting a 2405 or 2005fp for xmas anyways).

Any thoughts on this matter?

I think thats a fair assesment of the situation
or maybe its a not-so-sweet spot, try 85hz and see if its screwed too

any setting higher then 60hz is causing the problem... I do believe my sweet 21incher is finally dieing. I will have to give it a proper burial when it goes out completely... one with my shotgun that is.
