Damaged case-what should I expect?

Hey all. I ordered a Coolermaster Wavemaster on 31 Jan, it finally showed up 10 Feb, but it was damaged. I immediately contacted the place I ordered it from, and he initiated the claim through UPS. UPS picked it up the next day, and the place I ordered from AND UPS said the claim could take up to 8 days. Should I be worried? I ordered the case through performance-pcs.com. This is my first time dealing with them, the guy I've been dealing this with has been very nice but 1. I'm out $200 (had them install a window) 2. It's been 17 days since I've placed my order, STILL no case 3. Since performance-pcs initiated the claim, I cannot find out if the claim has bveen processed through UPS. Anyone had to deal with claims like this before? Thanks for letting me vent!
 
Have you talked to the place you ordered it from?

They should be able to tell you the status of the claim.
 
Just got off the phone with the guy. UPS is saying that I refused delivery, he is sending it out "by Friday at the latest" blah blah blah......I'm just mad is all, a few weeks of 12 hour shifts and a 10 year old wondering why her computer isn't built will do that. Mods, please delete this thread, sorry for using the forum to vent. Thanks.
