Damaged ASUS P5Q?

My LGA 775 Core 2 Duo / P5Q computer will not run. Mobo, CPU, video card, case, and hard drive fans first turn on for about a second, then the computer restarts -- then the power stays on (fans keep spinning and mobo LED is lit.) The monitor stays black the whole time (no bios, etc.) I've just moved to a new house and the computer was fine before I left... Are there any diagnostics I could possibly do? Or shall I purchase a new mobo?

make sure all your components are seated properly (memory, video card) Try starting your sys with the minimum required...hdd,video,1 stick of RAM..etc..
I wouldn't go buying a new mb yet...plenty of things to try first

Problem was solved after I took the MB battery out and put it back in.
