I see no love for the Nikon here on these forums :p

Anyway, the sample shots come from nikoncafe, thanks to Domdog31 (original thread for those with an account):

Ok.... I am impressed. Looks like I need to do some overtime at work :p

ISO 6400 shot looks really clean. What's the pricepoint on this camera?

Arg! I want one of these so badly... price does seem fairly reasonable for the giant leap forward this camera makes as compared to the last entry-level full-frame Nikon. But I still don't need to drop the cash on this right now. Hopefully by early next year I'll have sorted out enough to pick one of these up.

Yeah, that's insanely clean for ISO6400, and the detail at full crop is fairly astounding. All combined with the better lens performance on full frame, better focusing, and other pro options make this an extremely tempting buy...

I picked one up from Best Buy on Friday. Definitely worth the money and the wait. HUGE step up from my D90.

Congrats! I'm jelly :p Would you mind uploading one of the uncompressed .nef files for us? I'd like to see if my old PC can chew those files :p

The samples are looking really good.

For the time being, I'll have to stitch photos from my D300S.

Price for now... Nikon has risen the price worldwide, it is bound to raise here in the US.... those that preordered will be able to keep those prices....

It'll be interesting to see what happens here in the US.

30+ minutes of video can be "filmed" at a time when using HDMI out, so then it becomes a film camera which in many countries means it gets taxed more when imported in.

Very much appreciate it, and nope... my PC is definitely not up to the task.

Doesn't seem like I can open the file on Photoshop? I have the latest version of Camera RAW and I got an error stating that it's not supported.

you need to download the beta 6.7 or the beta dng convertor....
