My 6-year-old nephew cut, by mistake 🤣, my D-RGB led strip and throw the 4 pin connector away

I could solder a new one but, how can I identify the cables from the led strip? 5V, D, and ground? They are all black

You could visually match the cut with the other side. Otherwise you would need to access pads on the strip itself to measure out with your multimeter to see where they go, also measuring the output from the supply box could tell you where 5v and ground is easily.

A new cable should be super cheap on Amazon. I wouldn’t bother with trying to solder one of these they are small to begin with.

the connector is gone

I already have a new connector, but I need to connect it to the LED strip.

3 cables, which is which? I have a multitester btw...
