D-link 604 router loosing internet connection?

It is starting to acting weird on me. have a static IP fiber internet connection a 100 mbit. The router just to work just fine but now at times it looses the connection. I have to inactivate the internet connection and activate it again then it works as normal. If I race on-line in GTR for example it never looses the internet connection it´s like only when I let it rest for a while or something?

Is all routers this low quality. The first one was faulty from the start and this is only a couple of months old.
 
If you haven't updated the firmware, do so. Dlink is pretty regular about releasing firmware revisions for this device. When I got mine, the first few releases of firmware were horribly instable.
