I am trying to find a good computer fan for a scientific product I am developing. I am trying to fit a fan inside of round vacumm tubing, or to get a square fan with an adapter that allows it to attach to vacumm tubing. The internal tubing diameter is 2.5 inches (~60mm). The fan with the highest cfm and lowest vibration would be the best.

If I am being too specific, essentially I am looking for a (preferably) round fan with a high cfm and low vibration.

Any help at all would be appreciated.

I am building an acrylic chamber around a microscope to create a 37 deg. Celcius incubator (similar to http://www.solentsci.com/UK/micro_inc/inverted.htm). I currently have a regulated heater that uses 2.5 inch vacumm tubes to deliver the air to the chamber, but the flow rate is not good enough to make the temperature uniform within all parts of the chamber. I would like to put an additional fan "in line" with the heated air to improve circulation.
Alternatively (and less desirably), I could put additional fans inside of the chamber, but these would have to be VERY low vibration, since this would affect our experiments.

Any advice/comments would be great!

Why would you need a high CFM fan? It seems like you wouldn't want a high flow rate as it could dry out slides, affect glass electrodes, etc. It's an odd situation in that you need a large volume of air moved, but not too quickly.

Maybe if you could set up parallel air flow tubes, you could decrease the speed of the fans and thus reduce vibration.
