Cyborg RAT 5 or 7

IS 7 worth the wait for stores to restock them or just buy 5?

Also does 5 have the pinky rest

The only difference that I see is that the 7 is wireless while the 5 is wired. The rat 5 also has the pinky rest, tho I've heard complaints that it scrapes along your mouse pad, tho I've not experienced this problem.

The RAT 3 also has the pinky rest.

I can't remember since I returned mine, but don't they put a teflon skate on the bottom of the pinky rest? I didn't notice anything on a couple of my cloth pads.

RAT 7 is fully adjustable. Got one a couple of months ago. After getting all of the physical parts adjusted right it is very bad ass!

i have the rat 7 and love it, although the pinky rest is worthless. its shape makes it pretty uncomfortable to use, so i just use the regular rubberized one

acutally, it's the rat 9 that's wireless and 7 is wired. there's other differences between the 7 and 5

ya the "pinky rest" is a selling plug for me as i drag my pinky alot.. so that what has my interest in this mouse, its worth a shot atleast

apparently theyve done some updates to the rat9 before they released it....improving on some of the issues people had with the previous releases. if my mx revolution goes i might try one, although im still leary about getting a mouse with one of those wonky dual sensors.
