Wow. Just read this article (got linked to it from the [H] home page).
http://ocia.net/reviews/dangerden/page1.shtml

Now, the BIX2 is a little on the expensive side, as I'd go with a Bonneville from DD. But other than that, the review made pretty great choices, which was a surprise.

I am planning to get pretty much the same thing, although as I said a heatercore and I am also getting a 3000+. Do you think I could also get 42c load when overclocked to 300x9? Or was that just luck?

(I havent had a WC system before and those temps were pretty crazy! I'd think you'd be limited by your mobo at that point.)

Before I toss in my 2 cents.

I like DD very much and have had great customer service from them.
I am not married to them.
DD provided all the stuff for free apparently to the review site so a lack of negative comments is to be expected.

2 cents :

Note the room temp was 70 deg F when they tested that is a bit chilly.

Yes I think you could get those temps or close and think your choice of the bonny core would help in that respect. However with the bonny core I would go for higher CFM fans on a speed controller. Higher speed/CFM pabst or panaflows would give you best of all worlds, fairly quiet at full speed for extream overclocking adventures and then turned down a bit for gaming and the ability to turn them way down for web surfing etc. Be sure to get the shroud too if you are not going to make something up yourself.

Bah that pump reostat should go to 10 !!!

I cant stand the plastic squeeze hose clamps on DD site so its probally good they were left out of the kit. I strongly recommend something more bomb proof in the way of clamps.

I see no need for the res but I am a closed loop advocate. Whatever floats your boat. If you must have one, look for a single bay one or something externally mounted. If you plan on shoe horning that rad in your case you are probally going to loose a lot of drive bays as it is.

Yea I kno. I have detailed the parts i want to get (including links) in the thread linked to in my sig.

The place I am going to be using the computer at is somewhat chilly. (It's a boarding school and we always complain about the cold.) Our thermostats generally can't change more than form ~70 to 76 F, so I should be good there.

If you see my thread, I have already chosen Panaflos. They are the 120mm 12 volt M1A version.
RPM 2100
Air Flow 86.5
Noise Level 35.5

So I think I will be good there. Yea I have the double heatercore w/ shroud in my DD cart.

I am also planning to get metal clamps from an Auto parts store or something. I wish DD offered them. :(

A res always seemed simpler to manage in the things I have read. Plus a T-line and a fillport isn't much less than a single 5 1/4 bay res.

I only have 2 disc drives atm (not planning to get more) and one hdd and a fdd. I'm not too worried about needing all of the 11 bays that the stacker has. I was also inspecting the P180 from CM, because it is the only case I've ever seen with 120x2 on one side, but I'm worried about the front panel blocking the air flow.
