i have been working for a couple of days modding my shuttle xpc. So far i have modded it to fit an old gtx280 (used a plasma torch to cut the case) and pulled the old powersupply out and welded a custom made aluminum box to the bottom of the shuttle to house a corsair 650w psu. Since i have the extra room now in my case(where the old psu was) and below (my box to house the new psu) i was thinking of adding a wc setup to this.

I know im going for compression fittings but its the hose size thats got me. Would it be better to go with 1/2 id 5/8 od or something smaller or possible bigger? Also what would be a good cpu block and full cover gpu block to use? I have a core2duo e8400 for my cpu.

I have already found what seems to be a good pump (Swiftech MCP655) and im going with a black ice gt stealth 240 xflow rad. If those are not good please let me know. Also was just wondering since i only have 1 5.25 drive bay what would be a good res to go with?

in a very small case you might have a really hard time preventing your hoses from kinking around the bends. In that case you'd be better off with a smaller tubing in order to have a better turning radius to prevent kinking. Also, with a small rad you're going to have trouble getting the temps you want with both a CPU and GPU in the loop.
 
and that is why i dont trust any review on sites that sell hardware.
This Rad does a whole lot of cooling. Q9650 - 2 GTX 8800 - 4gig OCZ ram - North&South Bridge - evga 780i. 38'' idle 46'' under load!!

so for cooling my cpu gpu in a single loop what rad do you reccomend? and i guess since you didnt say anything about the pump that its a good choice for this setup
