Custom Power Adapter Energy Profile doesnt work...

Hi guys,

so i set up a "custom" energy profile for when my MB is plugged in. I set it to never turn off my mb and turn off my display 15 minutes of no activity.

now this doesnt seem to work. basically after 15 minutes or so, my macbook logs me out; i am kicked back to the login screen. upon login, all my applications need to be restarted.

is there another login setting which i am missing?

okay an interesting thing... it seems that instead of trying to go to sleep, it actually tries to log me out. for example i had a few firefox tabs open and when i looked at my macbook, it was trying to close the firefox tabs... but it shouldnt do that when its supposed to go to sleep. odd...
 
Sounds to me like you are confusing the display sleep slider with the actual sleep slider.
 
Go to "Security" in the System Preferences. Make sure the "Log me out after XX minutes of activity" is unchecked.
