Hey guys, I'm working on planning out my loop and would love to get your suggestions to make it as clean as possible.

I have a 360 radiator on top, 240 on the front, 2 cpu blocks, 2 mem blocks, pump/res, and a terminal for 2 titan xp's.

I installed everything with soft tubing to start, I just don't have the time for rigid right now or for nice cable management. I can deal with that later. In any case, I'm getting super low flow unless my pump is cranked up to 100% (only on molex). Any suggestions on how to modify the loop?

So first off, results speak louder than anything theoretical, so trying different variations would be helpful if you have time.

right now your loop order appears to be: res/pump->block1->CPU1->Rad1->CPU2->block2->GPU1->GPU2->Rad2->res/pump

If block1/block2 really are RAM water blocks (what are they?), I think they may be unnecessary and are impeding your flow.

It appears you want to make sure CPU2 doesn't get too hot by putting RAD1 between that and CPU1. I can understand that, but wonder how much itll matter as long as your thermals are ok, even if CPU2 is 5C warmer than CPU1. I can see you

I'd recommend the following iterations (both without block1/block2 as i don't understand them).
  1. res/pump->CPU1->Rad1->CPU2->GPU1->GPU2->Rad2->res/pump - breaks up CPU1 and CPU2 with Rad1
  2. res/pump->CPU1->CPU2->Rad1->GPU1->GPU2->Rad2->res/pump - breaks up CPU cluster and GPU cluster with Rad1
  3. res/pump->CPU1->CPU2->GPU1->GPU2->Rad1->Rad2->res/pump - Rad 1 will dissipate more heat if the water is warmer, this will provide the warmest water to Rad1, Rad 2 will dissipate the remaining on the way back to the pump
Give it some thought and see which you'd like to try. If it were me, I'd do #2 or #3

The OC'ing, if any, on the components could dictate which are most important to keep cool.

the other thing you should check is your temps, who cares if the flow is low if temps are good and your noise level with pump at 100% is ok
 
Haven't installed an OS yet but from the BIOS CPU1 showed 34C and CPU2 showed 36C. Creating a boot disk now to install an OS and do some tests.
 
If it were me, I'd pull the RAM blocks. I've never seen a case where they were actually needed, regardless of RAM overclock.

After that, if you're concerned with flow, go to a parallel block for your GPUs vice serial. That should reduce the restriction (and increase flow) without really impacting GPU temps at all.

Yeah, I hear you. Maybe they were just trying to sell me on as much as they could =)
 
Anyone know if it's possible to convert a EK-FC Terminal DUAL Serial to Parallel by just swapping the top port? From their manual it looks like it but I don't understand why they'd have two different terminals if you can just swap the port.

They're definitely adding restriction to the loop that already has 2 CPU and 2 GPU blocks. I'd say check temps with them on and off and see if matters. DDR4 runs pretty cool, even overclocked, so I doubt you'd see any temp difference.

They have different internal routing, so no you can't. You CAN just use two short lengths of tubing to get the same effect, but it won't look as nice.

Thanks. I figured there was something different but the insides look the same in their diagram. I mean, why even have 2 top ports if you can only use one?

Out of curiousity, did you end up using or pulling the ram blocks? If you pulled them did you notice a bump in your flow rate?

I did end up removing them and it helped. I also switched to the parallel GPU terminal. I have an SLI terminal too but it's not installed as it breaks some software I'm currently using.
