K Once I have my system up and running, once i get a new job that is...
Anyways So i plan to make a custom LCS for my system...and I want to cool the CPU, Graphics card, may go SLI later...Also whats Mosfet? For everything else like north bridge/south bridge I will let the fans cool those since I am going to add 2 more fans, to the case.

So I have some of the items to planned out but need help on the water blocks:

I am going to go 3/8" ID 1/2" OD

CPU: http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=291&cat=92&page=1
Graphics card: http://www.dangerden.com/store/product.php?productid=305&cat=18&page=1
Reservoir: Need Input
Pump: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6073/ex-pmp-53/Danger_Den_DD-CPX1_12V_3-Pin_Powered_Pump_-_DD-CPX1.html?tl=g30c107s154
Radiator: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/4083/ex-rad-84/Danger_Den_Black_Ice_GT_Stealth_240_Radiator_-_Black.html?tl=g30c95s160
Tubing: Tygon 3/8" ID 1/2" OD 5ft to be safe
Fans: 2x http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6174/fan-344/Yate_Loon_120mm_x_25mm_Fan_D12SH-12.html
Coolant: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6996/ex-liq-75/Feser_One_Non_Conductive_Cooling_Fluid_-_1000_ml_-_UV_Blue_F1-0001.html
This so i can mount it on the outside: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2156/ex-rad-35/Swiftech_MCB-120_Revision_2_Radbox_RadiatorFan_Housing_-_Black.html
and some clamps..

How would I do SLI Liquid cooling also If I do SLI should i get 3x 120mm fans/Radiator?

For the reservoir, I don't really want to do a T-Line, maybe the Swiftech Microres OR something that can hold more coolant. And how often do i have to add/change the coolant for the LCS?

Thanks,
Mark

I'm pretty sure you can get all of that stuff from Jab Tech or Sidewinder Computers for a much better price.
For a res, get the swiftech microres. Its cheap and does the job well. Getting a 120.3 radiator depends on what you are currently cooling. Post your system specs.
Coolant should be changed once a year at least, but its best to monitor it as water can permeate through vinyl and PVC tubing.

Case: Antec 900 w/ better cable management and Liquid cooling holes in back

Uhm... Wow.

First off, get a Dtek Fuzion for the CPU. It out performs the TDX, even the new TDX.

Second, if you're cooling an 8800GT and a quad core CPU, you need at least a triple radiator. I suggest the MCR320 radiator from swiftech... The HWlabs Stealth radiators are some of the worst out there right now... They're worse than the Black Ice Pro, or the MCR series.

You especially need a triple radiator, potentially even a triple radiator with an extra single somewhere, if you're going 8800GT SLI, and plan on overclocking everything.

Now, also, that pump sucks. I own one and it works ONLY with single block loops (IE, a radiator, and a CPU block, and that's it). If you're running a GPU block, let alone two of them, with 3/8" tubing, you need something with more power IMO. Perhaps the Danger Den D5 or the Swiftech MCP655 (same pump, just different re-branding).

You don't NEED a reservoir, you can get along with a Tline, But, my recommendation would be the swiftech MicroRes, or the EK tube res 150/250. Once the loop is totally filled, you let it run for a few days and all the air bubbles will get stuck in the reservoir. You'll need to add a tiny amount of coolant once... But then none ever again (unless you have a leak). You typically need to flush and re-fill the loop once every 2 years or so, at a minimum.

You can save a BUNCH of money if you buy a gallon of distilled water, and add 2oz worth of Pentosin Blue or Swiftec Hydrex Green to it. The feser one coolant is nice, but it doesn't cool any better than water, and it doesn't stay non-conductive for very long.

And yes, order from jab-tech... They're often cheaper than dangerdenstore.com.

K thanks, I am only ordering for DD because their warehouse is like a 3-5 miles from my house.
Now i will look into those pumps/water blocks/radiators.

Petra's prices are better than Frozen CPU and they have a "regular" single QuietPower. I'd stick to jab-tech and Petra's for most things.

You don't need a D5 Vario, the standard D5 will do fine, so get that instead if you can find it for less.

I agree with Arcy on all counts.

Everything you listed is perfect. That extra radiator, while taller than a normal radiator, doubles as a reservoir, and that's awesome :)

If you wish to order ONLY from dangerdenstore, pick up a Black Ice Pro triple radiator instead of the MCR320... That way it's all at one store. The performance difference between the BIP and the MCR is less than 5%.

Just make sure to get 3/8" barbs for everything.

They'll fit fine of the Swiftech MCR series, at least, I know from experience, and screws should come with the rad, though you'll need your own screws for mounting the rad in the case or wherever.

Hope you have a fan controller -- the "H" fans can be a bit loud at full speed.

Will these Yateloons fit perfectly on the rads?

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6174/fan-344/Yate_Loon_120mm_x_25mm_Fan_D12SH-12.html

And if they do what kind of screws do i need to use or shroud?

Those fans are loud as hell. Perhaps pick up the "M" variant (the D12SM) and a fan controller.

Also, go to your local home depot, or home improvement store, and purchase some 1.25" long screws, with either an M4 or a 6-32 thread (I recommend the 6-32 thread).

Don't get them ANY longer than 1.25" or you risk ruining your radiator! I've never had a rad come with screws to be honest... Basically, the screw goes ALL the way through the fan, and 0.24" into the actual radiator... Any longer and you ruin the fins/tubes of the radiator, and spring a leak...

Can you link me to those fans? couldn't find them and to a decent fan controller for 4+ fans.

You got the fans right, and I /guess/ you could use the single PCI-slot mounted rheostat and the power port thing to control them, but I'd personally just go with a normal four knob rheobus instead.

hmm well my PSU is a Modular design:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817814015

I am not to great with connection stuff, but do the fans connect to the PSU or the motherboard?
If they do connect to the PSU i might not have enough connections for the fans. Since I will have 6 fans on the case, adding 2 option ones, and a additional 4 for the radiators.

I'm getting help on the build from my cousin but he doesn't know anything about LCSs so I posted this.

You can chain multiple fans off a single molex connection from the PSU, as they don't pull a lot of power. You won't run out of connections.

However, if you get a fan controller (this Sunbeam Rheobus ($19 shipped) is more what I was talking about before) it will only take one molex connection from the PSU connected to the fan controller and you can connect all the fans to the controller instead.

ah cool, Will the length of the fan wires be long enough to reach the rheobus though?

um...extension wires? is that what you mean?

Nope, I meant like, cutting them, stripping them (you can use a knife) and twisting new pieces of wire in between the old pieces, then wrapping electrical tape around them. That said, shouldn't really be necessary.

oh that:D If you used a different word than splice I would've understand you right away.
Also do the fans push into the radiator or pull heat from it?
Since I'm going to have 2 reservoirs will the air bubbles bleed into both?
