Custom Gmail Sigs with Chrome

Is there any way to add a custom email signature in Gmail when NOT using Firefox?
I'm using Chrome, and I can't seem to find a way to create custom sigs, I need one with custom text size, color and font, and I need to be able to add an image.

As far as I know, the best you can do is copy from an HTML file and paste it after the body of your e-mail. Supposedly you can use the canned responses lab feature to build a template with your sig, but that's an even more convoluted solution (and it doesn't even seem to work with images correctly).

Google has a page where you're able to make "suggestions" for feature additions, and complex sigs is already there. If you haven't already, track down the page and make a "suggestion" for that feature to help persuade Google to get that implemented natively at some point. I think the link is on the bottom of the labs page in settings.
