Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
hi!
am planning on making a custom case out of wood for my new computer...
any suggestion on what I should be keeping in mind to prevent over heating...
thanks
Use decent tools & practice cuts on scrap wood so your familiar.
If your going to do angled cuts, Measure a few extra times.
And if you google search, you'll find tons of woodworking sites & forums that have guides for all kinds of things.
-I'm making my 2nd wood case. & its coming out better than the 1st, but this time I am taking more time.
make sure the intake/exhaust fans are somewhat in line so the air goes right through. instead of having one high and one low and basically just letting the air run around until its finally exhausted. also think about what flow your cpu cooler will have and also your gpu cooler. to make the flow smooth you might want to place a fan where some of the 5.25 bays maybe be, so you will have to find an alternative position for them. so put some thought in exactly what hardware you will be using as well. i bet if you post some designs you are thinking of you will get a lot more suggestions.
