custom build sites?

I was wanting to buy a new computer but I have a pretty specific list of what I want on it so I need a custom build website. The only one I have found so far that allows me to totally customize is cyberpowersystems.com. I have tried alienware, abs, monarch, etc. but none allow enough customization. Anyone know of any other sites?
 
order all the parts from newegg and put it together yourself... actually, newegg may put it together for you if you want
 
You have a choice....pay out the ass for someone else to build it for you, and deal without that extra level of customization...

Or, buy the parts yourself and build it exactly how you want. And, save a ton of cash in the process.

I don't quite understand why anyone would pay these companies money to build a computer that is made of the EXACT same parts newegg sells. It would take all of a few hours to assemble and load the OS if you had all the parts in front of you.
 
PM? And I realize I may sound like a dumbass...but how much work does that involve? do you have to solder anything or is it all just pluging and screwing stuff in? And don't you have to wire it a certain way so as the computer gets proper cooling?
 
Unless you're overclocking (bad idea if you still think computer assembly involves soldering), you don't have to worry too much about wire placement; as long as nothing is completely blocking a fan, you should be good.

Even if you don't know what you're doing, it should only take you an afternoon to assemble a system. Between the manuals that come with your hardware and the guides you see online, you should be able to figure it out.

No, its VERY easy to put a PC together. Its daunting the first time but then you see how much abuse it can really take and arent so ginger with it later down the road ;) No soldering or anything is required, everything is preassembled. Its basically a giant LEGOs set :D
