Hello, for all the bored pc gurus, I decided to make yet another budget gaming pc thread.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, primarily. But I'm not sure how hardcore I will be with it. Mostly WoW, but I want to try some of the newer games like CoD.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
I want to keep it around 400~500, but I can stretch over a couple hundred. Not really concerned about shipping and tax.

3) Where do you live?
USA

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
CPU, Mobo, ram, case, psu, gfx card, hard drive, and optical.

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Everything will be purchased.

6) Will you be overclocking?
If that would help, sure.

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
I have 19 inch acer monitor.

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Pretty soon.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
I don't know anything about SLI, crossfire, all that stuff. I just want to play games smoothly.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? 32bit or 64bit?
Yea I alerady have OS.

With around $650~$700, I can build a pretty decent system on my own. But I'm wondering what exactly is the good system for me, because I'm not a hardcore gamer. I just want to get back into WoW mostly, and if I find fps games attractive, be able to play those.

I'm looking at:
AMD Phenom II X2 550 (but I might downsize this depending on my need to save $)
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
Radeon HD 5770
G.skill 4gb

for primary parts. Any advice would be nice.
Thanks

For $700, stole this from another thread I was working in:

25.99 - Lite-ON DVD Burner
49.99 - Antec 200 Case
219.98 - Combo XFX Radeon HD 5770 + Antec NEO ECO 520C

TOTAL: $662 + $23 shipping.

luser's build is nice. If the F3 500GB is in stock, go for that instead of the Caviar Blue.
