Is Windy/soldam dead ?

What's the state of super high end aluminum cases from Japan these days ?

I only ask because I might have a pipeline there to buy a case.

=D

WiNDy (Soldam / Hoshino ING ) went out of business in June 2012. A couple of WiNDy's key staff members left the company to start their own companies: Abee in 2004, and JIGEN in 2010.

Abee is the only one of the three still making cases. But their inventory and colors are more limited than WiNDy's was. Their website is:
アビー オフィシャルサイト

JIGEN's PC case foray was very short-lived, which is why there isn't much information about their cases; the company formed in June 2010 and then stopped making PC cases in October 2010.

I haven't checked in a while to see if any similar companies recently entered the scene in Japan, but that's the current situation as far as I know.
