I have this problem where i can not join the same server as my brother in the other room on the same router. he can be in a server, and if i try to join the same server as him it just says that the server is not responding, and its the same if i am in a server and he tries to join. SOMEONE HELP! PLZ!?

I suppose it's possible that the server disallows concurrent connections from the same IP address to prevent ghosting/etc.
You may be able to get away with hooking a switch up before your router, and having one PC come off of that, assuming your ISP allows for multiple DHCP addresses.

Unless its a LAN Server... then you can have up to 5 Steam IDs.the server will not allow 2 Steam IDs on the same IP at the same time.
