CS Crash Problems...

Recently, I've been playing CS more, but like once every 2 hours, CS will crash, giving me the chance to send an error report.
My brother either can't or wont tell me what's wrong, so do you know what's happening?

p.s.- Cs is also getting messed around- i cant refresh & when I start up CS, only 100 or often less servers show up - with no filters on at all. Anyone else getting this or help????????????
 
completely uninstall then reinstall. If that doesn't work reformat
 
Thx for the help, I DID need new DX, but I noticed something else:
Yesterday I went to a HTH lan party, & there I would get the normal 10k servers
But then, when I went home, I still get the <100 servers.
Any guesses????????????????????????????????????????????????
