Crytek Developers comment on 1.2 patch and x800 quality.

Updated driverheaven article:

We have been in discussions with ATI/Crytek today over the issues we discovered with Radeon X800 rendering as detailed in the above article. Crytek have confirmed that the FarCry 1.2 build released today will no longer have these issues and that X800 IQ will be just as good in Patch 1.2 as it was in 1.1.

This is good news!
 
This is old news from Monday when sites thought thats when the patch was coming out, nothing new about patch availability.

The quote i have in the 2nd post of this thread is from the quote in your first post. I just cropped it and bolded the "today" for emphasis. So basically, you have the link ;)
