Crysis sound question?

So if my windows default is 5.1, will Crysis send 5.1 to my external decoder?

Reason why is that it doesn't sound right. There is too much lag between sounds moving from speaker to speaker. All 5 and the sub work.

I have a usb to coax converter though. I wonder if this presents an issue? I will try it without.

I think it is just their engine. Sound just goes bye bye when you duck behind anything b/w you and the source of the sound?

If you're running SPDIF from on-board audio to a receiver, you can't get discrete 5 channel sound from Crysis. I recently ordered a HT Omega Claro sound card to solve that problem.
