That video is ridiculous. I hope this game isn't going to be like F.E.A.R. where it can't be run fully until two years after it was released. It looks incredible though.
It's been out for 16 months, you're right. I rounded up. And in my opinion, the reason it's bad is that it makes the game impossible to play on the highest settings unless you have a $3000 computer. Thus, you have two options: One, you turn down the settings to get a playable framerate, but then what's the point of playing the newest top of the line game when all the new eye candy is turned off and it looks like a game from last year? Or two, you wait to play the game on the next gen hardware in which case the game may as well have been released a year later. I realize that development studios are always looking to push the envelope further and further, but I don't understand the obsession with creating games that include tons of options that no one but those with an unlimited budget can utilize. I mean, the screenshots are all well and good and like I said, it's impressive, but if I can't play it and see the same things, what's the point? When was this ever a bad thing? And it only took 1 year since FEAR hasnt been out for two.

I fear that a G80 won't be able to run this game as it's intended at native resolutions for 24+" monitors.
I have to admit, as pretty and awesome as it looks, whats up with the 'super jump' and 'super speed' stuff? To me it almost ruins the realism part - I could be mistaken if a valid reason was given, however.
