While the video is not the greatest quality, Kotaku has a sneak peek at some Crysis game play footage from CES.

I walked by the Nvidia booth today, only to get suckered into another playthrough of the CES Crysis demo. My goal this time was to launch as many North Korean soldiers into the air, only to have them plummet to their doom.

innnnnnteresting... is this guy superhuman or something, maybe its his suit, he sure could punch those metal roof tiles pretty high into the air... i do realize the vid quality is poor but the only thing that seemed cool was how the tree broken in half after shooting at it

Absolutely! The physics of the game seem to be the most interesting to me (and prolly everyone else out there). As Techx said, when the player turned and zoomed in on the tree and smacked it with some rounds, it was very cool to see the tree nudge slightly, then buckle and fall over. That (as well as almost every other aspect of that game) is going to make for some fun game play once this things starts shipping...

I love how you can shoot the rocket pods on the chopper to detonate its ordinance.

This confirmed my suspicion. The screen shots that crytec releases show the wood paneling splintering when struck, but i knew that was a render and would differ from the real game where the panels would fall off. It rocks that the houses can collapse, but too bad they still break like a house of cards and not like a real house.

I cant wait to "bust-through" this game!

The suit you wear during the game can be adjusted on the fly. If you need strength you can "dial it in", Speed? Ditto.

It looks like the game was running at a decent clip on very high settings,I was told by someone in attendance that the game is running on a C2D/single 8800 GTX/2 Gb ram.
