Crysis and Vista 64 Problem

So I came across an odd problem today, I was playing crysis and decided to decrease the res down a bit from 1900*1200 to 1600*1200 and the game is running super smooth on high settings but there was a glitch and the window shrank, now everytime I play it the game starts off in a smaller window and i cannot increase the size. I did go into the game and increased the res to 1900*1200 and the screen did fill the monitor but it is in a window so its like the game is playing in a windows box. Is there a way to fix this it is sooooooo annoying. I would like to play it in 1600*1200 with no problems. Also I do have the latest sp for vista. Thanks everyone. Here is my equipment list

Vista 64
intel 6600 quad
4 gigs of 1066 ocz memory
2 150g raptors in raid 0
8800gt superclocked card
benq 2400 monitor via dvi

i have pretty much the same system you have and i was getting this also randomly, when it happens you just have to go to the system/video settings and check the enable full screen box for some reason it becomes unchecked.
