Anyone own this? How's the noise? I've been looking at either this or the Noctua NH-L9i; looks like the C7 might perform better, but I've been unable to find a noise comparison between the two.

Cheers

I was just looking at reviews for this, a couple of days ago. Its pretty quiet. Noctua's L9x65 is a bit taller, but a similar low profile design. and only beats this by a couple of decibels. The Cryorig is probably one of the better values for low profile coolers. Especially if you are using a CPU which is lower TDP. Like a 65w or something.

But if you have 10 extra dollars...

I would also look at the Silverstone Tek Argon AR05 2 heatpipe and and AR06 4 heatpipe version (a bit taller, but still low profile). Both generally cool better than some other competing size heatsinks.

The Silverstones and the Cryorig are within a couple of degrees of eachother, with a stock 4770k. But overclocked, the Silverstones beat the Cryorig by a pretty large amount. 10 - 12 degrees. But that may not matter, if you are running a low TDP, stock CPU.
