Crunching in S3?

So I've been working on this unit, and its been taking quite a while to finish. No biggie, big unit, w/e. However last night I put my computer to sleep and the unit was at 76%. Now this morning I'm at 2% on my next one, does Folding (as a service) crunch while the computer is asleep?

F@H doesn't like it when the computer goes to sleep. You see, F@H doesn't test for sleep/standby, and if it sees 3 hours of runtime without any progress (checkpoint files), it assumes that something has gone wrong. If you shut down properly, F@H can tell, and it doesn't count it against you. But if you use standby/sleep, F@H thinks it's been running the whole time, and pukes.

Better to either leave the machine running 24/7, or properly shut it down. You can probably guess which is more popular around here.

I do not believe that F@H gives a flip about whether or not your computer sleeps. I've laptops that shut down. workstations that run other processes and I'm lucky to get a frame a day.
I frequently "hibernate" my laptops when I'm traveling - no problem. Horatio - check your log to see if it did an Early Unit End or some other problem. If you are going to kill the process manually always remember to kill the console - not the client.

I can't recall which WU exactly, I think it's QMD cores, they restart from square 1 if the core is stopped for 3+ hours. I looked at my notebook's log once, ugly site due to frequent hibernation's ect.

Hmmm I just started doing QMD's on this thing too... if its screwing up b/c of my S3 and re-setting I'm going to be SO pissed...

My notebook restarted on a 600-pointer (project 1140-1150) when it was in standby for >3 hours.
