I am going to try my 1st build,
(Hardware Forums)http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1596662

Basically it's a SB 2500K with HD6970 build, I was wondering if you guy's in the Displays section, had thoughts if this Monitor would work for a little while. I don't even know if it can hook up, but...

Thanks

KDS XF-9b..............Product DZ-997N...........Model 998N

16x12 19" screen sounds good, but alot of games are designed with widescreen in mind these days. You're better off with an FW900. Nothing beats it in overall PQ

As long as you have a DVI to VGA adapter it will work, (adapter comes with every Nvidia card Ive owned, assuming ATI is the same). I believe KDS CRTs have a VGA cable already built into the monitor? (non-removable).

If you have problems with it being stuck at 60hz refresh you may have to create a custom resolution with a higher refresh rate is all. this is easily done w/ Nvidia control panel I can only assume ATI has a similar option.

I think he's only using it as a temp monitor based on the build thread linked in the OP.
