So i just set up a dual monitor rig comprised of a pair of AOC Spectrum 7 Vlr CRT's. One works great, but the other is quite blurry and hard to read. There is a sticker on it saying it was repaired in '03. Is there any way i can fix this myself? :(

i wouldnt try fixing it.

I would however try a different refresh rate.

the only refresh rate i can get at 2560x1024 is 60 herts. The lowest resolution i can go to that will utilize both monitors is 1280x480, and i do not see any improvment in the bluriness when i change the refresh rate in that or any resolution between the two.

and in your setting you need to right click on the monitor you want to fix

Lol, i was doing this all through the nVidia console, and now that im doing it through properties, everything is fine, except for the fact that i cannot extend the taskbar onto the second display :(

i can only have the same resolutions with dualview, and the taskbar does not extend to the second monitor. With horizontal span, the taskbar does extend, but the first monitor's resolution cannot be changed to match the second.

Btw, the second monitor is still blurry.

EDIT: For some strange reason, the monitor just got better by it's self!
