Have decided that my current set up is running too loud/costly....so am gonna be venturing into WCing...

Was looking at this kit..

Dont ask me why i dont get everything from one place....cant get stuff delivered to where i am...and am very limited choise wise....

so think thats a good starter kit ? intend to OC...but not anything crazy...

i am looking at the dual 120 rad kit myself. i think if you are wcing your GPU you would need 2x120, am i right?

well it depends. are you wc'ing your cpu as well? chipset? how many videocards are you wc'ing?

you FOR SURE need at least a 2x120 rad for anything more than the cpu...

the D5/Laing 655/ MCP655 pump is SO worth it .. + it's adjustable.....

where do you live that people can't ship you stuff?

i bought everything from the FS forum..

for like 160 shipped i got:

TDX
D5 Pump
BIP3
Maze4GPU
Fillport
tubeing and clamps
12oz pentosin blue...

the used market is WAY cheaper than buying new but you have to have some patience and most of the time you have to buy piece by piece...

oh one last thing.. there's really no thermal need to watercool the chipset.. a good heatsink like the thermalright passive heatpipe one is really all you need.. adding the chipset block to the water loop will certainly lower wcing performance due to uneeded restriction...(that being said .. i think it's cool and sometimes i do things just bec it's cool )

im in Malaysia...well stuff can be shipped but it can cost like half or more of the cost of the items...

if i get them from the FS place, payment is hard

Forget the NV-78. Too hard to get a good mount. Take a look at the Swiftech MCW55/60. And yes, at least 2 X 120 rad.

skip the NV78. Try the Maze4, or that EK block that looks totally awesome and I wouldn't mind having a few of, eh, modsquad
