Just built this system and very disappointed in its performance on 06 test. Specs Asus x38 P5E3 Deluxe WiFi board, E6600 @ 3.2, OCZ DDR3 1300 @ 1420, 2-3870s@ 800-1170, Antec 550 Neo. Im getting 15380 on 06. Got another comp Gigabyte 965 DS3 board with a E6400@ 3.2, Wintec DDR2 800, and a Gigabyte 8800 GT that gets 13400. Still playing with it but 15380 seems low to me. Any suggestions? I know you dont build a comp for 06 and i didnt but just seems low.

Actually that score is pretty damn good for having a dual core proc. I suspect that if you threw a quad core proc in that system that score would easily go to at least 17K if not higher. 3DMark06 seems to love Quad Cores, but that is why 3DMark is such a bad program for testing game performance. I say if you can play most of your games smooth at max settings with good AA and AF at high resolutions then you're fine (and by sooth I mean anywhere from 45FPS+)
 
Got a 8400 heading my way will try that should help some. Dang only 48 more posts to go.
 
games are playing much better on this then the 8800gt. Dont have the random stutter anymore.
