what current chipsets will support a c2d and crossfire... are there any that arent meant for crossfire but that crossfire still works on (kinda like how the intel 975x supports sli even though its not advertised to)
 
Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe if you put them in an intel chipset the pcie rails will run at 8x, not 16x.
 
I don't know that much about this stuff, but even with the amd/ati chipsets, the vid cards run at pcie 8x?
