hello, i just bought an ABIT fatal1ty mobo and a radeon X850 crossfire edition video card and i look on the box when i got it, it says i need a crossfire ready motherboard.. what does this mean? will i be able to use the motherboard i got anyways? thanks

Only if you plan to run a x-fire configuration. As a standalone card you can use it in any motherboard with a PCI-e x16 slot.

Nope. Gonna have to get a CF MB to use Crossfire. The one card by itself should run just fine, though, even if it is a CF master card - you just wont be able to add another ATI card and run them in tandem until you "upgrade" your board.

Good luck finding one of those.

i really wasnt planning on adding a second card.. this is just the car the guy wanted. as long as it works and wont have any problems, we'll be happy.

In that case, you won't have any problems.
