ok, so its been ages since I decided to have a 1/2 decent games machine, so yesterday was upgrade day and all went well, however I have spotted something (which may be nothing) while playing Eve.
My setup is as follows (relevent sections):
Mainboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
CPU: AMD Phenom FX6100 3.3Ghz (Black)
GFX: 2 x Asus EAH6850 GFX (Connected with x-fire)
2 x Dell FP2001's running off the card in the topmost x16 PCI-e slot
Now I am monitoring it with MSI Afterburner (Same GPU / Controller witchcraft), now when I open anything graphically intensive, 1 card heats up and works for a living while the other one sits there (even with 2 eve clients running (1 on each screen)), is this normal, or is there a tickbox I need to find?
