Hey guys. Quick noob question about setting up Crossfire.

I know you want to stick with the same brand and card if possible but is it always best to be exact?

I have an ASUS 2gb HD6950 reference model and am going to buy another to set up in Crossfire. However, ASUS is selling a 2gb HD6950 DCII with better cooling, minor specs, etc.
Since that card is basically an improvement, should I go for it or stick with a second reference model to keep everything the same?

Thanks for the answers!

You can use both cards together but one thing to remember is that it uses the lower clock speeds when crossfired. You can just overclock the lower one to match the higher ones clock speeds if possible and enjoy.
