Crossfire Question

OK, here's my deal. I run a pair of 3870s in crossfire on a MSI P35D3 Platinum with 4GB DDR3. I use a 19" widescreen monitor @ 1440x900. Is crossfire really benefitting my at this resolution? I'm thinking it would be more of a benefit if I had a 22" or 24" monitor. FRAPs give me about 60fps in UT3 and Crysis Warhead doesn't benefit from Crossfire yet. Is it just a waste for me?
 
Easy enough for you to test...

Just yank out one card and see what the results change to during game play. That's the answer to the question.

Once you determine this, come back and report.
 
I've tried disabling Crossfire in CCC, but I didn't see a difference except in Crysis. I'm wondering if the benefit comes if I upgrade to a larger monitor
