Crossfire Problems

I'm hoping someone here may have seen this problem in the past or know how to fix it. I recently bought an x1950xtx crossfire edition and linked it to my x1900xtx. Performance wise I have gotten quite a boost but I am experiencing some lockup issues. When running any highly intensive game ie. Oblivion, Vanguard, BF2 etc I get about 50 seconds of play and my system completely freezes. The cards are getting hot 65-75 celcius but I can't see that being the problem as my 1900xtx ran at those temps for a long time until I put a new cooler on it. As far as what I'm doing/using you can see my setup below and I am on a fresh install of XP Pro with the newest catalyst drivers and ATI Tool tunning the fan at 100% for the moment. Also does anyone know of a program to monitor the second crossfire card with?

Thanks in advance.
