Crossfire problem

So i ordered a new case recently, a smaller one, and i didn't bother with cable management (horrible i know), so i only used one of my two 6950's. I figured it'd be enough to play what i play.

Well today i was sitting around doing nothing, so i decided to tidy up my pc. When i was done i had enough room to place the second gpu in, so i did so. I started up Far Cry 3, and i thought i was about to have a seizure. The game from start up would strobe white screens.

I tried other games as well, same effect. I have tried the following:

Tried each 6950 separately, and gamed for an hour, with no problems.

Forcing on V-sync in CCC, didn't help.

Put the bottom one on top and the top one on bottom, same result.

Even tried reinstalling windows with the newest drivers, problem still happens.

I assume "newest drivers" are also inclusive of the CrossFire game profiles as well?
 
That's some intense breathing :)
Try a different xfire bridge.
Also, with the new beta drivers you shouldn't use the CAPs.
 
My 6950's in crossfire did not like 13.1 at all. Caused my system to crash anytime I opened a game. So I rolled back to 12.10 and all was well. I have since upgraded to 13.2 beta 6 and all works fine again. Just something with 13.1 my system didn't like.
Just putting that out there, so you can think about it :D
