Crossfire problem

So I have two 4850 512MB ASUS cards in CF mode. My performance with crossfire isn't right. I actually get better framerates in BC2 if I disable CF. Anyone Have any thoughts?
My system info below:

Intel Q9650
6GB RAM
Abit IP35 PRO
two WD velociraptors RAID 0
550W Corsair PSU.
 
What driver version?

Did you install the latest Crossfire Application Profile in addition to the driver?

What do you have Catalyst AI set to? (Standard, Advanced, or Disabled)
 
If BC2 is running in DX9 and windowed then there might be an issue. Crossfire doesn't work with DX9 games running in windowed mode
 
Latest cat 10.6 drives with application profiles installed. Tried all the A.I. settings with no change.


I thought it might be a power issue so I unlocked 4 additional SATA drives I had and one IDE DVD drive with the same result. I know that the IP35 PRO only has 4x electrical on the second graphics slot so I know there is performance penalty for that but it should still be faster than a single card.
